Homeless man becomes online sensation after helping roofers on work site

It’s the inspirational story restoring people’s faith in humanity.

When roofers in London started working on a project, they saw a man living on a bench in a nearby park.
The boys gave the man - named John - a cup of tea in the morning, then they offered for him to come round and help them out the next day.
“He was first on site and worked non-stop, I have never seen anyone so happy to be at work!” roofer JayJay Murray told his friends on Facebook.
“Got him Burger King for lunch and set him back on his way around London.
The roofers from the London company said John's gratitude for the work and the meal was an eye-opener. Image: Facebook
“He said £15 will be fine, that this would get him thro (sic) the week but the boys had a whip round and he set off with £70 at 1oclock and asked when he could come back.
“Hes (sic) gratitude was a real eye opener. Keep going John got to be something good around the corner.
“Nobody willing to work should be living on the streets,” he added.
John told JayJay and his colleagues from Empire UPVC & Roofing Specialists: "Thanks brothers it’s the most love I’ve ever had".
The Facebook post was uploaded last week, along with five photos of the homeless man who only goes by the name John, but since then has gone viral.
“Bit of kindness makes the world of difference. Well done x,” one person commented.
While thousands of people applauded JayJay and the boys' efforts, there were a few telling them off for not offering him a permanent job.
However, it's understood John will be helping them again on Monday.
Off the back of the post some people have attempted to start the hashtag "let's find John", while others are offering paid positions.
